About Hong
Mr. Chung is a shareholder in the Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Department at Shulman Rogers. In his practice, Mr. Chung handles medical malpractice, personal injury, and product liability cases, including FTCA and MCA cases. In addition, he handles a variety of commercial and criminal matters. He represents individuals as well as entities before the state and federal courts in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
In addition, Mr. Chung is also the Co-chair of the Personal Injury Litigation Section of the Bar Association of Montgomery County and serves on the Board of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Maryland.
Prior to joining Shulman Rogers, Mr. Chung served as an Assistant State's Attorney for Prince George's County, Maryland. During his tenure, he handled hundreds of various motions and has conducted over 150 bench and jury trials in the District and Circuit Courts of Prince George's County, Maryland.
Mr. Chung received his B.A. from the University of Maryland in 1992 and was awarded his J.D. from Temple University School of Law in 1996, where he was a member of the International and Comparative Law Journal. He is a member of Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia and New York bars. He is also fluent in Korean.
