About Howard

Howard joined Hickey & Evans in 2007 and practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, probate, and trust administration.  His practice also includes assisting his clients with real estate transactions, easements, rights-of-way and title issues.  He practices in all of the Federal and State Courts in Wyoming .  Howard is also a charter member of the Ewing T. Kerr Inn of Court, a chapter of the American Inns of Court, which seeks to advance professionalism within the legal community.  He presently serves on the Cheyenne Inn's Executive Committee as Treasurer.

Before practicing law, Howard was employed in the mining industry for sixteen years in positions ranging from underground mine foreman to mine and plant manager.  His professional achievements include current registration as a Professional Engineer and multiple publications in mining journals.  Howard additionally has made presentations before professional organizations in the mining industry including the annual meeting of the Society of Mining and Exploration.  His engineering experience has always taken a practical hands on course and includes production supervision and management, processing plan construction, surface mine reclamation, underground and surface mine design, and mine subsidence control.  Howard is a graduate of both the Colorado School of Mines undergraduate mining engineering program and the Johns Hopkins University 's graduate environmental engineering program.  Howard is married and has lived in Wyoming for ten years.  He enjoys a broad range of activities including mountaineering, snow sports, website development and travel.
