Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I successfully settled a case for over a million dollars when the client did to not expect to receive anything, based upon the client receving the ticket for an auto collision. I also obtained a re sentencing (92 page decision from the 11th circuit court of appeals). Winning a 9 week trial against the Federal government.
How did you build a successful practice?
My Practice is built on word of mouth, dedication and hard work. Working on weekends and going to the client to meet them. Always returning phone calls.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Honesty about the expectations of their case.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Knowing the Judge is critical. Experience with a Judge will give you the ability to inform your client what will happen with their case.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
In a phone conversation and aided with computer I can give a full free consultation unless the client has documents I need to review.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
People come to lawyer because they have a problem. No matter what the problem is, I will tell them what will will happen in their case and explain what degree of certainty that is based on. My fees are more than reasonable.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Making a client happy rewards me. Nothing like getting a letter of appreciation or a new referral based upon prior work.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
I am a gym rat. I love to fish and hunt. I love hanging with my three dogs and my twin daughters. I read/study history and theology everyday.
