I have had the privilege of being in private law practice in Maryland for the last 19 years. I was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Howard S. Chasanow, both on the Circuit Court for Prince George's County, as well as on the Maryland Court of Appeals. In 2023, Mr. Miller was certified as a DWI detection and standardized field sobriety test instructor by the NHTSA. Mr. Miller was born and raised to a career firefighter in Northern Virginia. He spent time as a volunteer firefighter while pursuing his bachelors in fire and safety engineering technology. For years, Mr. Miller handled all of the arson cases in Anne Arundel County. In addition, he has presented numerous times as a subject matter expert at the International Association of Arson Investigators and also presented to the Maryland Fire and Explosion Investigators Association. His background and experience with complex criminal investigations and expert witnesses is a valuable asset to Alpert Schreyer Criminal Defense Attorneys. Having been in Maryland since 2005, Mr. Miller has made this area his home. He graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2009 and was also a staff editor of their flagship journal, Law Review.
