Questions & Answers
Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
.I took a case pro bono - grandmother possession and access case. The father of the child was not in the picture and willingly signed over parental rights. The mother of the child who had custody was on drugs and not caring for child but collecting food stamps and other aids on behalf of child. Grandmother had child but could not get benefits for child. I was able to terminate mothers parental rights and get grandmother to be appointed the primary on child. This designation also made it possible for grandmother to apply and receive benefits for child. Child was very happy with grandmother and sent me a thank you card. This was very rewarding to me in more ways than money.
