The George Bochanis Injury Law Offices was established in 1985. Before opening his office, Mr. Bochanis spent years representing major insurance companies in litigation cases and prior to that was a law clerk to a prominent local district court judge. Our offices have grown from a small one person setting to having its own well known office location on South Ninth Street in Downtown Las Vegas with 15 employees. Over the past 28 years of practice, Mr. Bochanis has helped thousands of locals and tourists who have had their lives disrupted and sometimes ruined as a result of the carelessness and negligence of others. We have represented the widest range of clients, from high profile wrongful death cases to those who were able to recover from their harms and losses in a short period of time. Our previous clients are our main referral source of new clients because of our efforts and the results we get for them. Mr. Bochanis is the past president of the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association/Nevada Justice Association and has served on its Board of Governors since 1995. While at the Public Defender’s office, the majority of Nate’s time was spent in the courtroom, where he gained invaluable experience as a trial lawyer. Nate left the Public Defender’s office to reunite with Mike and Tim to add his unique blend of experience to be a powerful advocate to those who have been injured. Nate received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. Year in and year out, UVA is ranked as a top ten law school by U.S News & World Report. While attending law school, Nate completed an externship with the Honorable Chief Judge Gloria Navarro of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. Prior to attending law school, Nate graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University. Nate’s experience working for large corporations and insurance companies and the indigent at the Public Defender’s Office, has brought him to the realization that his passion is helping those who cannot help themselves. He understands that being a lawyer is a great responsibility and privilege. He prides himself on serving his clients to the very best of his abilities. In his free time, Nate loves to be with his wife, Jan, and their four children, Elin, Will, Jude, and Eva. He also enjoys a round of golf and a good book. Laura Lomeli is a personal injury attorney born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology, from Nevada State University. She received her Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law, where she was actively involved in community-focused leadership and advocacy.

Louis Minicozzi graduated from California Western School of Law in 1993 and has been practicing law in Nevada since October of 1993. He has been serving Nye County since 1997. Louis was a top 10 attorney in the American Institute of Family Attorneys list in the state for 3 years. He provides his legal service in both Nye and Clark counties. He was named in Las Vegas Inc Magazine on their top personal injury lawyers list. Louis is currently one of the only two bankruptcy attorneys in the area. Wendy Arce, Associate at Valiente Mott, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and moved with her family to the U.S. in 2001. Alex De Castroverde is a Las Vegas personal injury attorney and the owner of De Castroverde Law Group along with his brother, Orlando. Their father, Waldo De Castroverde, was born in Havana, Cuba, and was a paratrooper in the Bay of Pigs invasion. Waldo moved to Reno, Nevada, in 1978, along with his wife Vivian De Castroverde (also born in Cuba) and their four children. After attending law school at night—while he dealt blackjack during the day—Waldo became one of the first attorneys in Nevada to open a law office with the focus of representing the Hispanic Community. In 2005, De Castroverde Law Group was formed as a branch of the Law Office of Waldo De Castroverde. Renee M. Finch is a Partner in Messner Reeves’ Las Vegas Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Finch’s career began as a manager overseeing claims professionals at a major insurance company. While excelling in that position, Ms. Finch also graduated in the top 20% of her class from The William S. Boyd School of Law, then put her career experience to work in the Las Vegas litigation arena. Ms. Finch’s practice is devoted largely to defending corporations, insurers and their insureds, in high-exposure cases in which claimed medical expenses and other alleged damages total in the millions. To date, she has tried 15 such cases to verdict, obtaining in each of them either complete defense verdicts or verdicts lower than the plaintiffs’ lowest settlement demand.
