After graduating from Marian University in Indianapolis, Troy attended the Indiana University McKinney School of Law. While there, he was inducted into the prestigious Order of the Barristers, a national honor society recognizing effective oral advocacy and legal writing skills. He was also a semi-finalist in the Robert H. Staton Moot Court competition, held annually at I.U. McKinney School of Law. Troy interned with Indianapolis-based Thomas Law Firm, P.C., gaining valuable experience in several areas of practice. Troy is admitted to practice law in Indiana, as well as the United States District Court of Northern Indiana, and the United States District Court of Southern Indiana.
