Questions & Answers

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

I had a client that owed a rather large amount of money to a creditor, Dyck O'Neal and his bank account had been frozen over $38,000.00. We were successful in getting the garnishment set aside and all funds returned to him.

How did you build a successful practice?

Building strong relationships with clients and always over delivering to them. Delivering more than they expected with integrity and skill to achieve exactly what they hired me for, and more.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

They should look for a lawyer that pays attention to their needs, gives them one on one time, the attention they deserve, listens to them, is available, knowledgeable and skilled

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

The law is always changing, so if we don't commit to continue to learn, then we are not doing well by our clients. We as humans are always growing. If we stay stagnant, then another lawyer will pass us. We need to always be on top of the ever changing legal field so that we can over deliver to our clients

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

I am known in the community for taking all my new client calls. No matter is too big or small. Free Consult means free consult. Some days that's what keeps me in my office until 8 PM but I pride myself on being hands on and available.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

I usually allow the client to speak and air out their concerns but then I nip it right in the bud. After practicing 21 years, I have usually faced the persons problem before and I know exactly what questions to ask to help them out.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

Being able to help those in need and getting the results clients expect

What are your other interests in addition to law?

Jogging, Boating, anything outdoors. In Miami, the weather is always perfect and my three children keep me on my toes.

Are you involved in your community?

I am involved in numerous pro bono projects, I am a Trustee in the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce
