Mr. Ayres has a long history in the practice of Family Law handling domestic matters ranging from divorce, paternity, child custody, guardianship for minor & adults as well as spousal / child abuse incidents. Mr. Ayres is well acquainted with the Circuit Court Family Division in many jurisdictions throughout the State of Michigan as well as many District Courts around the state.

As a young Attorney Mr. Ayres developed a back ground in personal injury and product / manufacturer liability cases. Early on his area of practice expanded, in addition to civil litigation, to various criminal cases involving narcotics forfeiture actions, drunk driving allegations, felony charges as well as District Court trial’s. Today the bulk of his practice rests in family law and criminal law cases however, supplemental cases in general and probate law keep his time filled in the civil area as well.

In addition to the Practice of Law, Mr. Ayres has a long history in the academic arena as an adjunct faculty member of the of the University Of Detroit-Mercy’s Criminal Justice Department. Teaching Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Classes at the college level, he has also developed classes in Private Security Law Enforcement and Constitutional Law. Additional academic teaching credentials include his instructor roles at Western Wayne County Police Academy, Schoolcraft College ‑ Radliff Center, Macomb College (Business Program), Wayne State University and the University of Phoenix.
