Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
Having recently left the bench, I have served as a judge and have heard over 5,000 cases (both contested and non-contested). These cases have covered most issues. I have been through a divorce myself and know what my clients are going through.
How did you build a successful practice?
Prior to serving as a judge, I successfully ran my own practice. I made sure I was available as much as possible to my clients.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Everyone is different, some people need someone to comfort them. I give my clients an excellent plan for to maximize the situation they are in.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Local knowledge is very important. I know the judges that will hear the cases in the area. This gives me knowledge about what they are looking for and the hot topics that are important to them.

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
I am the only Board Certified Family Law Lawyer in Pearland, one of only five in Brazoria County. The fact that I sat on the bench as a Judge and went through a divorce sets me apart from the other lawyers in the area.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Knowing that I have done the best I can for my clients to help them.
