About Jamie
Ms. Kester is an associate in the Business Department and a member of the firm's Corporate Practice Group. She concentrates her practice on helping clients with corporate and commercial transactions, as well as general business matters. Ms. Kester is also a member of the firm's Pro Bono Home Ownership practice group.
Ms. Kester received her B.A., cum laude, in 2003 from St. Joseph's University and her J.D. in 2006 from Villanova University School of Law, where she served as Associate Editor of Outside Articles for the Villanova Environmental Law Journal. Her article "Rubber-stamping v. Probing Review The Judicial Role in Enforcing the Substantive Requirements of the National Forest Management Act: Lands Council v. Powell" was published by the Villanova Environmental Law Journal. While in law school, Ms. Kester represented low-income taxpayers in disputes with the IRS as a participant in the Villanova Federal Tax Clinic.
Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Ms. Kester is also admitted to appear before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Business Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
