About Jamie
Ms. Spero graduated magna cum laude from Robert Morris University in 2000 with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting. She has worked in both private and public accounting in the areas of tax preparation and auditing. She received her Juris Doctorate degree in June 2004 from Duquesne University School of Law. While attending law school, Ms. Spero interned for the Honorable Judge Joseph A. Del Sole of the Pennsylvania Superior Court and also completed a one-year internship in the Allegheny County Family Division. Ms. Spero was a member of the Duquesne Law School Tax Appellate Moot Court Team. She began her employment as a law clerk with Lisa Marie Vari & Associates, P.C. in May 2003 and accepted a position as an Associate Attorney with the office in October 2004 after passing the Pennsylvania Bar Examination.
Jamie is a newlywed having married William Spero in June of 2006. Mr. Spero is a financial planner. In law school and for her first year in practice, Jamie was known by her maiden name, Jamie Stapinski.
