Questions & Answers
Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
We have conducted multiple jury trials where our client's were being exploited by either the judicial system or by law firms. We have handled pro bono matters also in an effort to benefit the community.
How did you build a successful practice?
Primarily it is by our courtroom success. We are extremely responsive also, and return all calls within 24 hours if possible. Most of my cases come from referrals and repeat clients, based on our effectiveness.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Clients should evaluate whether the lawyer seems to care more about their own business, or whether they legitimately seem to care about the interests of the client primarily.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
It is very important. Knowledge of the local procedures and personnel is invaluable in being a successful attorney.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
I can generally provide the client with potential risks involved with a given matter, as well as the potential "upside" to litigating a certain issue in a certain way. We can generally provide a general description of the strategy or manner in which we see pursuing a case, and also the potential fee for the services.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
It depends upon the case. Contact information and a basic description of what the claim is about are necessary prerequisites.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
Our dedication to our clients, and the amazing results that we are generally able to obtain set us aside. Clients are in direct contact with the lawyers during the entirety of the case.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
In truth, the priority of this firm is to help people. This is something that we are able to do by virtue of this profession and we use all of the tools at our disposal to assist our clients, who are generally in difficult situations when they come to us.
Are you involved in your community?
Yes, I was nominated last year to be a member on the school board, however I do not currently hold this position. I am also a real estate broker, primarily working in the metro Detroit area.
