About Janet
Ms. Janet Dech joined the firm in November 1994 and now supervises our Oklahoma City office. Ms. Dech is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law, graduating in May, 1989 with honors. Following law school, she worked for Homing, Johnson, Grove, Moore, Hulett & Thompson as an associate attorney. She men became in-house counsel for Mid-Continent Casualty Insurance Company, a major Oklahoma workers' compensation insurance company, where she handled its workers' compensation respondent work. Ms. Dech then went on to serve as a claims administrator for a multi-state loss management company. Ms. Dech's primary responsibility with the McGivern Law Firm is to handle litigation in the Oklahoma City Workers' Compensation Court. Ms. Dech is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She is also a member of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Tort and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association.
