About Jaqueline

Jaqueline Cobb is an associate of the firm practicing primarily in the area of immigration, criminal defense, and personal injury law. She is fully bilingual–fluent in both Spanish and English. Originally from Honduras, Jaqueline grew up in Miami, Florida and Durham, North Carolina.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science summa cum laude from North Carolina Central University and her Juris Doctor cum laude from North Carolina Central University School of Law. In addition, Jaqueline earned a certificate in Taxation from North Carolina Central University School of Law.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Jaqueline served the Durham community for over 9 years as a victim advocate for the Durham Police Department and the Durham District Attorney. While in law school, she clerked for the Charlotte Douglas International Airport and worked as an extern for in-house legal counsel at Cisco Systems and the Office of the Durham County Attorney. After graduating from law school, Jaqueline continued to work for the Office of the Durham County Attorney and later for IBM Corporation in the area of business immigration and employment law matters.

Jaqueline has strong ties to the Raleigh-Durham community and is proud to call Raleigh her home. She is a member of the North Carolina Bar, the Wake County Bar, and the American Bar Association. In her spare time, Jaqueline volunteers with Wake County Bar Association to provide legal services to people of low-income and moderate means. Jaqueline is married to Gary A. Cobb, a financial representative with Northwestern Mutual and a native of Rocky Mount, NC.

Dangerous Dog Appeal Case 15 CVS 3883

Assistant attorney for the county in an appeal case in which an owner of a dog "Maggie" was ruled a potentially dangerous dog previously. The facts of the case involve an attack on another dog by said dog (Maggie), causing damage and resulting in the initial ruling by the county. On appeal, the initial decision was affirmed.
