Jasmyne Crimiel | Attorney

Jasmyne L. Crimiel serves as an Associate Attorney in the Montgomery, Alabama office, where her practice focuses on personal injury, sexual assault and human trafficking, and mass torts. Ms. Crimiel is committed to advocating for individuals who have experienced trauma and injustice, utilizing her legal expertise to bring about meaningful change in the lives of her clients.

Ms. Crimiel began her legal career in 2018 as a Deputy District Attorney at the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. In 2023, she transitioned to the Alabama Attorney General’s Office in the Criminal Trials Division, prosecuting special victims’ cases including child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking. Her work has earned her a reputation for dedication to justice and passion for protecting vulnerable populations.

Ms. Crimiel is deeply committed to her community and youth empowerment. She is the founder of Girls on Fire, Inc., a nonprofit organization that inspires and empowers young girls to achieve their full potential. Additionally, she is an advocate for raising awareness on higher education, gun violence prevention, and sexual assault, frequently speaking at local schools.

Her professional affiliations include the Montgomery County Bar Association, serving as a Board Member of the Alabama Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and serving as a member of the Junior League of Montgomery. Ms. Crimiel is also a proud member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and serves as an adjunct criminal law professor at Alabama State University.

Ms. Crimiel earned her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Tuskegee University in 2014 and her Juris Doctor from Faulkner University, Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 2017.
