Jay Verona graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. degree in 1979 and a law degree in 1982. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1982. Mr. Verona is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, as well as before the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida (1983), the U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit (1983), the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida (1987), and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Florida (1990). Mr. Verona is a member of the Florida Bar and the St. Petersburg Bar Association. He was chairman of the Bankruptcy Section of the St. Petersburg Bar Association from 1991-93.
Mr. Verona was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 1, 1957, and has been a resident of Pinellas County, Florida since 1973.
