About Jeffrey
Jeffrey Armstrong practices in several business-related areas including tax and business planning, estate planning, real estate and transaction law, construction law, and commercial and general civil litigation. His practice in the general business and estate planning areas includes advising clients with respect to the formation, operation and liquidation of business entities (including general and limited partnerships, joint ventures, business and professional corporations, professional associations and nonprofit corporations), purchase and sale of business entities and assets, and formulation of estate plans (including succession plans for business owners). In addition to representing various individuals and businesses with their business transactions, Mr. Armstrong handles contract and lien disputes for several contractors and subcontractors.
Mr. Armstrong's clients include municipalities and local governments in connection with general and commercial litigation, local and nationwide corporations in connection with mergers and acquisitions, local doctors in connection with medical malpractice litigation, and professional individuals in estate planning and asset protection.
Prior to beginning his law career, Mr. Armstrong was employed as a certified public accountant by Pattillo, Brown & Hill and by PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. Mr. Armstrong is currently an adjunct professor at the Baylor University School of Law.
