Established in 2002, the Law Office of Jeffrey R. Brown, Esq., LLC proudly provides representation in all aspects of divorce and family law in New Jersey. Divorce clients usually begin the process with a great deal of anxiety and uncertainty. Common questions include “Will I have to pay alimony and for how long?” “How much alimony am I entitled to receive?” “What bills should I be paying during the divorce?” “What will happen to our house?” “Should I move out of the house while the divorce is pending?” “How will our credit card debts be divided?” The firm’s approach is to offer clients a realistic assessment of their case at the first meeting, to provide a framework as to how the process will unfold, and to put them at ease and answer all of their questions.

A divorce settlement agreement is often the most significant financial agreement a client will enter into in his or her lifetime. It is important that the client understand the ramifications and significance of that agreement, and, to that end, it is imperative that the client retain an attorney skilled and experienced in the practice of family law.

Jeffrey R. Brown is a member of the Middlesex County Assignment Judge’s Family Law Committee, which meets monthly, and has been selected to serve on the Middlesex County Family Court’s Early Settlement Panel, an all-volunteer program designed to help divorcing couples settle their case prior to trial. Jeffrey R. Brown is also an active member of the Middlesex County Bar Association’s Family Law Section.

Jeffrey R. Brown provides representation in matrimonial matters to individuals throughout New Jersey, however the vast majority of our divorce cases are venued in Middlesex, Monmouth, Somerset, and Union Counties.
