I have handled numerous wrongful deaths and serious injury matters where the family had lost a love one or lost all hope that their lives would ever return to normal. These are the most challenging but rewarding cases to pursue because we, as their attorneys and counselors, can find out the truth about what happened, pursue the wrongdoers for their negligent acts, and hold them accountable for the harms they have caused. We cannot bring a loved one back or restore complete normalcy but we can do our part to restore their hope in the future.

Hard work and honesty. There is no substitution for simply sitting down and doing the work necessary to handle the business side of a law firm at the same time that you pursue justice for individuals. Return phone calls, do the heavy lifting, answer questions, be prepared for court and client matters and, most importantly, listen to your clients and give them honest answers.

Someone that is willing to do the hard work and be by their side throughout what is oftentimes a very difficult time in their life. They need an attorney that can advise them on the law and the circumstances of their case. They need an attorney and a counselor that is willing to listen to their concerns and address them head on.

Like everything in life, everyone and everything is unique. There is no "one-size fits all" approach in the practice of law because every case is different and every court is different. You need an attorney and law firm that is familiar with your unique issue and has an understanding of the local perceptions. You need attorneys that can immediately and thoroughly investigate your situation and understand how to present those facts in a way that your neighbors will understand and relate to them. After all, it is a local judge and jury that will determine the outcome of your case and you need an attorney that is familiar with both.

We can answer any questions an individual may have about their particular injury event and how to possibly remedy the situation. We can provide them insight on what to do immediately and address their concerns for the future. Most importantly, we can provide them an honest and straight-forward assessment of their situation and provide them a plan of action to navigate the legal process.

Who, what, when, where and why. Moreover, we need to know what the goal is and what will make the individual happy. Once we know those details, we can advise them on the best course of action whether that be hiring us, another lawyer/law firm, or handling the matter on their own.

There are a lot of great attorneys in each of the areas that I serve. I think our firm is unique in the way that we relate to our clients. I make sure that my clients have my cell number and are free to call whenever they have a question. If I'm in court or handling another matter, I do my best to respond to my clients as quickly as possible so that I can answer their questions and alleviate their anxiety. We try to be partners with our clients in their lawsuits.

Helping people through a very difficult time and making a complex, nervous situation something simple and understandable. Achieving justice for someone is indescribable.
