JEFFERY H. SAVLOV, received his B.A. degree in history from the Florida State University in 1970 and his J.D. also from Florida State University in 1975/ He served as an Assistant State Attorney in Sarasota from 1975 through 1976. He was employed by the Florida Department of Transportation as an eminent domain trial attorney from 1977 through the middle of 1981. While with the Department, Jeff was responsible for eminent domain cases in Southeast Florida, primarily concentrating in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Since moving to private practice, Jeff has had eminent domain cases throughout the state, including all Southeast Florida counties, along with Polk, Leon, Bay, Washington, Gadsden and Sarasota Counties. On a contract basis, he has represented Sumter County in eminent domain matters. Jeff's clients have included Paul Liau of Wei Tzi Realty, Braman Motorcars, the Emporium Shopping Center, the Cross County Mall, W & W Lumber Company, E Z Credit Wholesale Motors, Broward Factory Service, and Wendbeach, a Wendy's franchise in North Florida. Jeff is Vice-Chairman of the Eminent Domain Committee of the Florida Bar and has written and lectured for The Bar, the American Right of Way Association, and the Association of Eminent Domain Professionals. Lecture subjects has included compensation, inverse condemnation, and ethics.
