About Jennifer

Jennifer is a 2004 graduate of Hamline University School of Law. While at Hamline Jennifer earned a concentration in Intellectual Property, was a member of Law Review and was awarded a CALI award in Trademark Law. Prior to law school, Jennifer worked as a research specialist for two laboratories at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. Jennifer performed research on the bacterium Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae which is the causative agent of porcine pleuropneumonia in the laboratory of Dr. Susan West and in the laboratory of Dr. Michael Collins, Jennifer performed assays on clinical samples to determine if the animal was infected with the bacterium Mycobacteria paratuberculosis, which is the causative agent of Johne's Disease. Jennifer utilized many different biotechnology techniques for her research and was a co-author on several publications. Before college, Jennifer lived in Bad Nauheim, Germany with her parents and traveled extensively throughout Europe.
