About Jennifer
Jennifer Kolinski Millis grew up in Coral Gables, Florida and made Jacksonville her home after graduating from law school in 1999. Her practice focuses on catastrophic injuries and wrongful death cases, including medical malpractice, products liability, nursing home neglect, insurance disputes and car and truck accidents.
Jennifer is active in a variety of local and state legal organizations, including serving on the board of the Florida Justice Association (FJA) for the past five years. Jennifer has also served as past chairwoman of FJA's Young Lawyers Section and Women's Caucus. She is a recipient of the Florida Lawyers Action Award and is former Inaugural Chair of the Al Cone Trial Advocacy Institute Seminar. In addition, Jennifer is a member of The American Association for Justice and The Jacksonville Bar Association, where she served as a primary member of The Young Lawyers Board from 2000-2003. She is also a mother of two young children and is very active in their schools.
Jennifer received a B.F.A. in acting from New York University. She obtained a J.D. from Florida State University College of Law where she honed her litigation skills in several Mock Trial competitions. Her trial skills were recognized with awards including: The Florida Bar Chester Bedell Competition, Runner Up; The Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers Mock Trial Competition, Semi-Finalist; The Intramural Competition Champion, and The Coach's Award. She also served as FSU Mock Trial Inter-collegiate Chair.
