About Jeremy
Jeremy Laabs graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2002 and received the Francis J. Larkin Award for Achievement in the Field of Patent Law. During law school he participated in the AIPLA Giles Rich Moot Court competition and served as a Moot Court advisor. He was a UW Law School liaison to the Intellectual Property Section of the Wisconsin State Bar and Vice President of the Intellectual Property Students Organization.
Jeremy is a registered patent attorney and is a member of the Minnesota and Wisconsin State Bars, the American Bar Association (ABA), the Wisconsin Intellectual Property Law Association (WIPLA), and the Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society. He has also passed the Fundamentals of Engineering licensing exam.
Jeremy assists clients in obtaining legal protection for intellectual property and maximizing the commercial value of intellectual property rights. His practice has included US and foreign patent prosecution in the mechanical and electrical arts, including US interference practice; licensing agreements; patent, trademark and trade secret validity and infringement opinions; confidentiality agreements; patent and trademark litigation; and client counseling regarding strategic management of intellectual property portfolios.
