About Jeremy
Jeremy Mattox is a native of Berry, Kentucky, and a 1999 graduate of Harrison County High School. As a high school student, Mr. Mattox was a charter member of Judge David Melcher’s Harrison County Teen Court Program, which served to set him on the road toward his future career. After high school, Mr. Mattox obtained his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Georgetown College, graduating in 2003. While at Georgetown, he was very active in the President’s House Association, serving as recruitment chairman as well as social chairman during his time in the organization. In addition to being a member of the Lambert Law Society at Georgetown, Mr. Mattox was also the managing editor of the Georgetown College Belle of the Blue Yearbook during his senior year.
After graduating Georgetown College, Mr. Mattox moved on to the University Of Kentucky College Of Law where he received his Juris Doctor in May, 2006. During law school he served as a legal intern under Judge James Ishmael in Fayette Circuit Court and worked in the law offices of Harry E. Budden, Jr. in Paris, Kentucky. Mr. Mattox was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 2006 and has been serving the people of Central Kentucky since that time. Jeremy M. Mattox, Attorney at Law, PLLC is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.
