She has worked in the Intellectual Property departments of elite law firms in Silicon Valley, including Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP and Latham & Watkins LLP. While in Silicon Valley, Ms. Zimmerman represented corporations in high-stakes patent infringement suits in federal court. She also represented asylum seekers pro bono before the Immigration Courts and in the federal appellate courts.
Since moving to Sacramento in 2013, Ms. Zimmerman has taught the required legal ethics course, Professional Responsibility, to aspiring lawyers at UC Davis School of Law. Ms. Zimmerman now provides high quality, affordable legal services to individuals and businesses in California.
