About Jody
Jody L. Aaron has been representing the victims of medical and other negligence for more than twenty-five years, since graduating law school from Wayne Statue University, cum laude, in 1982. Although the principal focus of her practice has always involved medical and nursing negligence actions, she also handles cases involving automobile accidents, construction site accidents and other general injury claims. She has handled cases in the state and federal courts of most jurisdictions in the State of Michigan and has been involved in securing several settlements and verdicts of more than a million dollars during the years that she has been practicing law in Michigan.
She is involved in a variety of professional organizations including the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and is a sustaining member of the Michigan Association for Justice and the Oakland County Bar Association. She has served, by invitation, as a member of the Negligence Section of the State Bar of Michigan and the Executive Committee of the Oakland County chapter of the American Inn of Court. She is immediate past chair of the Case Evaluation Subcommittee and twice the past chair of the Medical-Legal Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association. She is also a member of the Circuit Court Committee and has served on the Legislative Committee and has been invited for several years to participate in the Oakland County Bench Bar Conference.

In addition to practicing law, Ms. Aaron has been employed as an instructor by the American Institute for Paralegal Studies. Before practicing law and following her graduation from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a B.S. With Distinction, Ms. Aaron taught middle school in a special education program designed for students with cognitive impairments. She is married with two children and enjoys cooking, fishing, hiking and other outdoor activities, particularly in Northern Michigan.
