About John
John A. Gallagher is a Key West native (Conch) who attended Key West High School. He graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in History.
Over the years, he intermittently drove a Key West taxi during the lucrative high season, and he ran a successful charter boat business for over ten years, fishing mostly offshore. One day, he ran into an old friend who has just graduated from law school, and was inspired that he could do at least as well as THAT guy! He sold his last boat, and went to Nova Southeastern University Law School.
After graduation, he became a title examiner for the Attorneys Title Insurance Fund and later ran his own title company. He worked for one for the largest secured transactions firms in Florida before joining the Devolder Law Firm.
He enjoys running, fishing and scuba-diving. John is a member of the Florida Bar.
