John Davis joined the firm of Weber Gunn PLLC in 2004 after working at another Vancouver law firm. Prior to entering private practice, John worked for the Clark County prosecuting attorneys office and the Oregon Department of Justice. Prior to entering the field of law, John was a realtor in Clark County for eight years. John is an experienced trial attorney licensed in both Washington and Oregon. John practices primarily in the following areas of law:

  • Real estate and related litigation including title issues, boundary disputes, survey issues, commercial and residential leasing, commercial and residential purchase & sale agreements, foreclosures, construction disputes, lien disputes, homeowners association disputes;
  • All aspects of business organizations and business related litigation including contracts, business formations, the sale and purchase of all types of businesses, the representation of family businesses as well as closely held corporations and limited liability companies in general matters, shareholders rights and remedies, and drafting all forms of general business documents including buy-sell agreements and non-compete/non-solicit agreements;
  • All types of general litigation including debt collection, general contract disputes, and breach of warranty and other agreements;
  • Dissolution of marriages with and without children, modification of child support and parenting plans, and parentage actions;
  • Misdemeanor criminal charges such as DUI, Assault 4 DV, Disorderly conduct, and theft.

John is a lifelong resident of Clark County. He attended local area schools and received his bachelor's degree from Portland State University. John received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Willamette University College of Law.

John is married and has two daughters. He enjoys camping, fishing, triathlons, and traveling.
