A trial attorney through and through, John has always enjoyed fighting for his client's rights in the courtroom.
John is an attorney with an active litigation practice in the county and district courts for Phelps County and the surrounding area. He represents clients in nearly all aspects of the court system including personal injury, contract disputes, criminal defense, divorce, and child custody disputes to name a few. Having joined DeWald Deaver L'Heureux in 2017, John is honored to represent and provide quality representation to clients who would otherwise have to travel great distances to find similar counsel.
John grew up and spent the greater part of his life living in Puerto Rico. As such, he is naturally bilingual and regularly represents Spanish-speaking clients in his practice. Not only does this save you the expense of having to hire an interpreter, but it also gives you peace of mind knowing that the sensitive details of your representation remain with one person.
John and his wife, Danielle, have two children and are proud members of All Saints Catholic Church in Holdrege, Nebraska. When John is not hard at work for his clients, he enjoys playing sports, spending time with his family, or otherwise working on various home projects.
