He was a member of the Cumberland Mock Trial Team and the Cumberland Trial Advocacy Board. Mr. Scherf has over (26) years of experience in Auto Accidents, Criminal Defense, Family Law, Personal Injury, Social Security Disability and Worker’s Compensation cases. Mr. Scherf is licensed with the Alabama State Bar and all Federal US District Courts in Alabama. Worker's Compensation Appeal
Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
Personal Injury case I litigated against local manufacturing Plant. Sued them for Worker's Compensation & Wrongful Discharge. Also sued their insurance carrier for the tort of Outrage. Case where employee injured their back at work (Herniated Disk) and was subsequently fired. After suit was filed, they honored her claim and provided medical treatment. All parties resolved the claim and settlements were obtained.
