JOHN J. TUOZZOLO has practiced in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, Commercial, Corporate, Tax, Title XIX Planning, and Elder Law. Although Mr. Tuozzolo no longer actively practices with the firm on a full-time basis, he remains of counsel and serves as advisor to the other members of the firm on tax aspects of their practice.

Mr. Tuozzolo is a contributing author to the attorney's handbook, Connecticut Real Property Law, published in 1984. He is also a co-author to the Encyclopedia of Estate Planning, which is in its 21st edition. He has been a member of both the Executive Committee on Taxation and the Probate and Estates Executive Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and a member of the Connecticut Bar Association. He has acted as arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.

For several years, Mr. Tuozzolo was an adjunct professor in taxation at Western Connecticut State University where he taught finance and tax law. He has been active in local politics and is a former member of the Bethel Planning and Zoning Commission. Mr. Tuozzolo is a past chairman and a member of the Board of Directors of the Western Connecticut Chapter of The American Red Cross and a member and secretary of the Board of Directors of the Regional YMCA.
