Jon Stephen Berk, Attorney

Jon Berk leads the Litigation Practice Group at Gordon, Muir and Foley and has been actively involved in the defense of personal injury and professional liability litigation for the last thirty years. He represents both insured parties and their insurance companies in a wide variety of cases. He defends serious personal injury, sexual harassment, professional liability and municipal liability claims. Jon also litigates insurance coverage issues. He frequently speaks to companies and clients on a variety of issues including insurance coverage.

Jon has particular interest and experience in "uninsured motorist" coverage, a subject that he addresses before many professional and insurance groups. He co-authored Connecticut Law of Uninsured and Underinsured Motorist Coverage, a treatise widely cited by the Connecticut courts which is now in its third edition.
