About Jonas
Jonas K. Seigel graduated Goucher College where he was a two year captain of the Varsity Lacrosse Team. After college he traded stock for Deutsche Bank and worked with autistic children at the Forum School. He then attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan from which he graduated in 2007. Prior to joining the firm he served an extended period of volunteer service for Habitat for Humanity serving as a Crew Supervisor in building homes in New Orleans, Louisiana. With the intention of continuing in the firm's trial practice Mr. Seigel served an internship with the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office and has already tried a number of cases in Ringwood Municipal Court where he serves as an Assistant Municipal Prosecutor.
Mr. Seigel heads the firm's Early Settlement Program resulting in the settlement of a large percentage of cases before litigation begins. He has developed strong bonds and relationships with insurance company adjusters. He has conducted extensive discovery on behalf of the firm and personally represents a number of clients in the litigation process.
Jonas K. Seigel is a member of the American, New Jersey, Bergen County and Passaic County Bar Associations. In addition, he is a member of the New Jersey Association for Justice (formerly the American Trial Lawyers Association) and was accepted into the Morris Pashman Inns of Court in Bergen County. He has recently been elected an at-large member of the New Jersey State Bar Association Young Lawyer's Division Executive Committee.
The New Jersey State Bar Association has chosen Jonas as its 2009 recipient of the Community Service Award and he has been nominated to the 2010 edition of Who's Who In America.
