About Jonathan
Mr. Jonathan (Jon) Owens has lived in Nevada since 1999 and represents clients in premise liability, transportation law, products liability and insurance coverage matters. His practice includes defending catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, defending the manufacturers of various products including building products and automotive products, litigating cargo claims and providing coverage analysis for several lines of insurance coverage.
Following service in the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Owens obtained a Bachelors of Science, cum laude, from Utah State University, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah College of Law where he was active in both Law Review and Moot Court. He is licensed to practice in all courts in the State of Nevada, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Mr. Owens is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA) and the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada (ADC). He has spoken on numerous occasions on trucking and transportation law issues, and contributed to ABA, DRI and ALFA International publications on transportation, punitive damages and products liability issues. In his spare time, Jon enjoys training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and spending time with his French Bulldogs.
