Jonathan D. Gordon, Esq. is a family law attorney, admitted into practice in New Jersey (1998) and New York (1999). He received his law degree from Fordham University School of Law in 1998 and has been practicing in Family Court for almost 15 years, first as a NJ Deputy Attorney General, representing DYFS (now called the Division of Child Protection and Permanency). He is also a Licensed Psychologist (#1358) in New Jersey, Ohio (#7540) and New York (#5614). Prior to becoming an attorney, he practiced as a clinical psychologist for over 20 years. He maintains his psychology licenses and besides providing clinical services as a Psychologist, conducts forensic child custody and parenting time evaluations for the courts as well as counseling individuals and couples with family and marital issues. He is a court approved family law mediator and parent coordinator (under the former Pilot Program). He has a special interest in difficult child custody and visitation disputes, domestic violence and child abuse issues. He has served for many years as a Hudson County Matrimonial Early Settlement Program panelist. He was an honoree at a Project S.A.R.A.H. annual fundraiser for his work with victims of domestic violence. He is a Barrister of the Barry Croland Family Inn of Court.
When not at work, Jonathan enjoys yoga, guitar, movies, travel, family.
