About Jonathan
Jonathan Grad, a shareholder in the firm, has extensive experience in preparing and prosecuting US and international patent applications in a variety of fields. Representative areas include medical and dental devices, semiconductors, laser technology, coatings, packaging and polymeric materials. His practice includes patentability, infringement and validity studies. He also has experience in patent term extensions and has lectured in this area.
Dr. Grad's scientific experience includes research in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and NMR Spectroscopy at the University of Minnesota Radiology Department and at the Francis Bitter National Magnet Laboratory at M.I.T. He has co-authored nine papers in the areas of NMR Spectroscopy, MRI, Chemical Physics, and Non-Linear Optics.
He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the Canadian Intellectual Property Office.
In his leisure time, Dr. Grad is an avid cyclist.
