Jonathan J. Kelson, Attorney

Jonathan J. Kelson is a partner in the Litigation and Intellectual Property Departments.

Mr. Kelson practices in the areas of complex commercial litigation and intellectual property. He has represented individuals and business entities in state and federal courts in a variety of matters, including insurance coverage and defense, employment litigation, real estate and title litigation, contract and business disputes, unfair trade practice matters, and creditor’s rights. He also regularly defends insureds in professional malpractice, employment and product liability actions. Mr. Kelson has considerable appellate experience, handling appeals to the Connecticut Supreme and Appellate Courts. Mr. Kelson also represents clients in alternative dispute resolution forums, including arbitration and mediation.

In addition, Mr. Kelson represents clients in a variety of intellectual property matters, including litigation and the defense and enforcement of intellectual property rights. He has experience in trade secret litigation, and trademark and copyright infringement matters.

Apart from litigation, Mr. Kelson provides advice and counsel to clients on legal issues across a range of areas, including contracts, insurance, employment and real estate matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kelson was a legal research clerk with the Connecticut Superior Court.
