He serves as Vice Chair of the ABA’s Middle Eastern Committee and also as Vice Chair of the ABA’s International Human Rights Committee.

As an Arab American lawyer, he has taken a special interest in working with and dealing with immigration and other issues that are occurring in the Arab world. In 2010, he founded the National Arab American Bar Association (NAABA), www.NAABA.org, an online community of law professionals interested in the Arab world’s legal issues and law-related topics.
