About Joseph
Mr. Fluet is highly regarded as a leading attorney who routinely handles highly complex and sensitive legal and financial matters both nationally and internationally. He specializes in high profile and sensitive affairs that require comprehensive coordination of legal, media, political, and consulting efforts. Mr. Fluet has served as lead attorney on a wide variety of matters, including complex multi-million dollar financial government contracts, internal financial investigations, criminal defense, complex litigation, and corporate transactions. His clients range from IT and professional services firms to the nation's largest aerospace and defense contractors. He advises clients in all aspects of business and financial operations and government contracting, including bid protests, disputes, commercial litigation, terminations, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and government investigations. Mr. Fluet is also active in representing local small business and individuals, and has sat on several corporate boards. Earlier in his career, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, and as an Honors Attorney for the United States Department of Labor.
Mr. Fluet has also had a distinguished career as a military commander and decorated combat Veteran. His career includes service in both active and reserve forces, spanning 20 years in airborne and special operations units. A veteran of conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other overseas locations, he is a seasoned combat commander with a widespread reputation as a leading expert in security, combat aviation, special operations, and counter-narcotics.
