About Joseph

With over 29 years of experience in both private and government practice, Mr. MacMahon has substantial experience in many areas of the law. He started his legal career in 1986 as an associate at a large major law firm here in New Jersey assisting in the representation of large national corporate clients. In 1991, Mr. MacMahon made the personal decision to begin his own law practice and to concentrate on attending to the legal needs of individuals and “smaller” corporate clients. Mr. MacMahon has committed himself to providing the same exceptional legal services to his clients that he observed major law firms providing to their large corporate clients in a cost effective manner. After over 20 years as a sole or small firm practitioner, Mr. MacMahon is proud to be able to say that he has many longstanding clients who have continued to utilize his services for many years and that he continues to obtain new clients on a regular basis. Whether a client be old or new, Mr. MacMahon provides a level of personal attention and pro-active representation that assures each of his clients their interests are being protected and advanced at every stage of the representation.

Having served for three years on the District X Ethics Committees, which oversees attorney conduct, Mr. MacMahon is aware that the most frequent complaint made about attorneys is a lack of communication with the client.
