Joe was born and raised in Massachusetts before moving to California in 1982. he graduated from Saratoga high school in Saratoga California and thereafter attended UC Davis where he obtained his bachelor of arts degrees in economics and political science. He also competed on the UC Davis lacrosse team and was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. He thereafter went on to attend law school at the University Pacific, McGeorge school of law obtaining his Juris Doctor degree in 1990. At McGeorge Joe was on the governing board of the McGeorge School of Law Community Legal Service. Since that time Joe has practiced in all areas of general liability and litigation.

The Law Office of Joseph Michael Sette is pleased to announce recent successful results for our clients. We successfully obtained a favorable settlement for our client in the amount of $700,000.00 The matter stemmed from a fall at a stairway/landing at a commercial establishment in Lee County. The injury was of a fractured ankle with surgical repair on a thirty-year-old female nurse. The resolution came about as a result of our diligent efforts to engage the insurance carrier early, identify the key issues, retain the correct experts, do the detailed research as to the history of the location of the incident, understand law applicable to the facts of the incident and elements of recovery and keep our client informed every step of the process.
How did you build a successful practice?Building a successful practice took effort and the understanding of the clients needs. I may know and work with the law and court system but if I cannot communicate that knowledge in an understandable manner to my clients and then apply that to my clients situation I am not meeting my clients needs. I strive to do this every day.
