How did you build a successful practice?
I always try my best to provide the most personalized, friendly legal service that I possibly can to my clients. When dealing with a lawyer, it's often not the best time in a person's life, for multiple reasons. Therefore, just an extra minute or kind word goes a long way.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
First, and foremost, clients need a lawyer with experience and proven results in a particular field of law. Once the experience and results criteria are met, I honestly believe that clients have to find a lawyer in which they feel confident. The clients need to feel confident that the lawyer can and will do the best job for them. That's very important.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
I can often provide a great deal of information during a free telephone consultation. I often ask that potential clients fax or email any relevant documents to me in advance of a consultation so that I can review the documents to get a feel for the current posture of the matter. Then, I am able to provide the potential client with indications as to what they can expect to occur next, what they may want to consider doing and whether they are actually in need of an attorney at that point. It’s very important to me that potential clients have a grasp on the reality of the situation and not simply be told things they may want to hear. It's important that the potential client is aware of that information upfront.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
I was born and raised in Milton, Florida and have resided here all of my life. My family has owned and operated businesses in this area, which gives me a deep appreciation for my community and the people in it.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
By far, the most rewarding aspect of my job is helping others. People often come to me when they are desperately in need, in one way or another. When I can obtain a result that makes life easier for a client and makes a client happy, that's what makes this job rewarding.
