About Julie
Julie A. Parker is the President and Founding Attorney of The Parker Law Group, P.A. She was born in Washington D.C., and moved to Bradenton when she was 15. She began her legal career directly out of high school and earned her Paralegal Degree from Manatee Community College. Ms. Parker worked as a litigation legal assistant for 10 years in Bradenton and Sarasota before moving to Michigan to complete her education. She is a 1997 graduate of Michigan State University where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Political Science. She graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School with a Juris Doctor degree in 2001. Ms. Parker was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2001.
Ms. Parker founded the firm on the principles of commitment, trust, respect and working in the best interests of the client. Having been in a serious motor vehicle accident herself, she understands the importance of her clients' case and understands the needs that injury clients' have. Ms. Parker has devoted her career to representing and helping people that were injured due to someone else's negligence. She has aggressively represented clients in Sarasota, Manatee, Hillsborough, Pinellas and other counties throughout the State of Florida. She has represented and assisted clients and their families for nearly 20 years in personal injury and wrongful death cases. She will fight for the rights of her clients in battling with insurance companies.
Ms. Parker is a member of the Florida Bar Association and American Bar Association. She is also a member of the Florida Justice Association, Florida Association of Women Lawyers, Manatee Chamber of Commerce, Manatee County Bar Association, Longboat Key Chamber of Commerce and Sarasota County Bar Association. Ms. Parker has been a member of the Corporate Board for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Manatee County since 2003 and was installed as the President of the Board in June, 2008. She has been a mentor for Take Stock in Children of Manatee County and is also a member of the Board of Easter Seals of Southwest Florida. She has shown the same commitment to the local community that she has to her clients and believes in supporting the Bradenton and Sarasota communities, an area she has lived and worked in for over 25 years.
