About Julie
Julie Pfaff joined Gawthrop Greenwood in December of 2006. Her practice concentrates on environmental counseling and litigation. Ms. Pfaff also handles commercial litigation and appellate matters in both state and federal courts.
Before attending Villanova Law School, Ms. Pfaff worked as a manager at The Vanguard Group where she managed large-asset corporate 401k plans. Following law school, Ms. Pfaff clerked for the Honorable Juan R. Sanchez in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She then practiced at the law firm of Schnader, Harrison, Segal & Lewis in Philadelphia, where she handled environmental and toxic tort cases, commercial litigation, as well as federal and state appellate matters.
Ms. Pfaff has experience representing large companies in toxic tort cases, as well as experience counseling and litigating environmental disputes for individuals and companies. She has also counseled clients and litigated numerous other matters including contract disputes and civil rights violations. In addition to her legal work, Ms. Pfaff serves as an adjunct communications professor at West Chester University.
Ms. Pfaff is a member of the bar in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Ms. Pfaff is a member of the Pennsylvania and Chester County Bar Associations.
