Katharine worked for a tax law firm where she advised on and resolved tax, business and real estate issues, including mergers and acquisitions. While attending law school, she was the Notes & Comments editor for the Oregon Review of International Law, and received the Dean’s Scholarship for three years. Prior to law school she worked for seven years as a project manager for two data companies.
Katharine has worked on mergers and acquisitions for sellers with sale values up to $40 million. She co-counseled the defense of a general contractor in a seven-week, $20 million construction trial. She also successfully represented a two-year refugee case before the Immigration Court pro bono, and continues to handle pro bono immigration matters for victims of domestic violence through Catholic Charities.
