After graduating law school, Conway worked as a judicial clerk at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. She then transitioned to politics and media.
In 1995, Conway established a polling firm called the Polling Company, which explores consumer trends.
She has worked for several notable politicians, including Congressman Jack Kemp, House speaker Newt Gingrich, and former Vice President Dan Quayle. In 2016, she endorsed presidential hopeful Ted Cruz, then served as a senior advisor on the Trump presidential campaign.
Conway is married to George T. Conway III, a partner at the law firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz.
