Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
Recently completed a six figure settlement in a case where the insurance company repeatedly denied the claim prior to filing suit. You must be willing to fight to get the resolution your client deserves.
How did you build a successful practice?
Building a successful practice requires strong communication with your clients, and obtaining the results your clients seek. Most new clients are referrals from other current and former clients.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
A client should look for an attorney they feel comfortable with, one they can communicate with and one that is open to communicating with you.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
It is vital to know the local influences on your case, from the judge's preferences and procedures, to the likely jury that will hear your case if it cannot be settled. Failing to have that type of information can lead to a very poor result.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
I can evaluate the basic facts of your case to determine 1) if you have a potential case and 2) what needs to be done in order to proceed on the case. Typically I can answer most of your questions so long as I have enough information to do so.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
I prefer to get all information the client has; important dates, names, witnesses, and claim numbers. If you don't have any information, don't worry, we can discuss what information you do have and go from there.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
Our firm is committed to friendly and open communication. What that means is you talk to a person when you call, and you get calls returned. We build a relationship with clients that many other attorneys fail to develop.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
While earning a living and getting great recoveries for clients is of course a rewarding part of the job, the most rewarding is getting referrals of new clients from past clients. That means we are doing it right!
What are your other interests in addition to law?
I love to travel with my wife and family, and am additionally recently become a fan of running marathons.
Are you involved in your community?
Being involved in the community is important for any professional; we provide pro bono legal services, participate regularly in church activities and enjoy participating in numerous community fundraising events annually.
