About Kevin
I graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1983. Iworked for the Hartford firm of Katz & Seligman concentrating on litigationand real estate and a South Windsor lawyer with a general practice beforeopening my office in early 1987. My practice currently consists of real estate,litigation, wills and estates, and criminal law. I have been active in SouthWindsor community affairs for many years. From 1989 to 1995, I served as amember of the House of Representatives. From 1995 to 1997 I was a member of theState Senate where I served as Co-Chair of the Banks Committee. During my 8years in the legislature I was a member, at various times, of the JudiciaryCommittee, Transportation Committee, Finance Revenue and Bonding Committee, andEnergy and Technology Committee. I have done a considerable amount of pro bonolegal work. In 1998, I was named the Connecticut Bar Association's OutstandingYoung Lawyer of the Year for my pro bono representation of the family of a localmurder victim in their battle to keep the murderer from gaining release from astate mental institution. I am now also a political columnist for the HartfordCourant's Sunday Magazine, Northeast.
