About Lane
Lane Brody is an attorney in the Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics; Civil Litigation; Subrogation; and General Liability practice areas.
Lane’s desire to assist and defend those in need began while working at a local nursing home throughout his high school years. This aspiration grew even stronger while working with disadvantaged youth during college, then with indigent clients at a law clinic and at the Dauphin County Bar Association during law school. These life experiences have created his passion for defending the rights of those in need, both individuals and companies alike.
Now, Lane concentrates his practice on the defense of commercial motor vehicles and their insurers as well as a variety of clients in civil litigation matters including general liability and subrogation. Prior to joining Reager & Adler, he worked for large law firms either in Philadelphia or based out of Philadelphia. He has taken and defended hundreds of depositions of every type of witness, from plaintiffs and defendants to expert doctors, economists, vocationalists, engineers, and accident reconstructionists. Lane has been successful in civil jury trials on behalf of Fortune 500 companies and small businesses alike in both the state and federal courts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Additionally, he has resolved hundreds of cases at mediations, arbitrations, and matters in the Magisterial District Courts all throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Lane was selected as a “Pennsylvania Rising Star” by Super Lawyers and Law & Politics Magazine for the years 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. Rising Stars are the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in Pennsylvania who are 40 years old and younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less.
Lane prides himself on being readily accessible to all of his clients 24-7 for matters involving an emergency response. He resides in Central Pennsylvania with his wife and daughter. In his free time, Lane enjoys spending time with his family and friends, fishing, skiing, and cooking up new creations.
